Jordan

A member of the OSCE Mediterranean Partners, Jordan’s connection with the OSCE dates back to the Helsinki Final Act of 1975, which recognized the close relationship between European and Mediterranean security. Jordon was welcomed into the Mediterranean Partners in 1998 and has become an active participant in OSCE Mediterranean Partnership events on topics such as preventing terrorism, counter-radicalization, and border security.

In 2015, Jordan hosted the 2015 OSCE Mediterranean Conference, which focused on common security, including workshops on combating extremism, the role of interfaith dialogue, and migration.
