Andorra

Andorra has been an OSCE participating State since April 25, 1996.

Andorra is a small parliamentary democracy situated in the Pyrenees between Spain and France and is a member of the Council of Europe.  Its economy is heavily based in tourism, particularly skiing, as well as finance and retail.  Its population of approximately 85,500 is 49 percent Andorran, 24.6 percent Spanish, 14.3 percent Portuguese, and 3.9 percent French. A predominantly Roman Catholic country, 0.8 percent of the population is Muslim and 0.3 percent is Jewish.

In addition to having its elections observed by the OSCE in 2015, Andorra has hosted an OSCE PA meeting attended by Helsinki Commission representatives.
