Kristine Berzina
Kristine Berzina is a senior policy advisor and secretary of the U.S. Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. She is responsible for leading engagements with the EU and NATO, has a regional focus on the Nordic-Baltic countries, and concentrates on emerging and dual use technology.
Berzina has extensive experience on U.S. defense, NATO, EU, and Baltic foreign policy. She has spent nearly two decades working on security policy, energy security, critical infrastructure, and hybrid threats. Previously, Berzina served as a senior fellow and managing director at the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
Berzina has worked in Brussels and Berlin. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Yale University and a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Cambridge. Berzina is a native speaker of English and Latvian, has a working knowledge of German, and has a basic knowledge of Russian and French.
