Helsinki Commission to Examine Religious Freedom in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan

WASHINGTON - Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS), Chairman of the United States Helsinki Commission, announced that the Commission will hold a briefing to explore the issue of religious freedom in Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, as well as US foreign policy concerning the promotion of religious freedom in these two countries:
