First celebrated in 2010, Social Media Day recognizes the enormous impact social media has had on global communication.

Many OSCE institutions, field missions, and related entities maintain a robust presence on social media, allowing them to share news, facilitate dialogue, and promote democracy, the rule of law, and human rights throughout the 57 participating States of the OSCE.
